Owner and founder Sarah S. Graham first saw the need for her company when her mother was diagnosed with dementia. Juggling the demands of work, school, her three children, and caring for her mother, Sarah often found herself thinking, "If I only had a clone..."

She discovered that it was hard to find someone flexible and affordable to help fill in the gaps and make sure everything was taken care of. As she talked with friends and acquaintances, she came to realize that many people were in situations similar to hers, and the idea for Just A Little Help was born.

Although Just A Little Help has experienced great success, Sarah is determined that the company will remain a boutique service with a team small enough that she can manage personally. Having the best people with plenty of hands-on training is the way she can assure every client will receive exceptional, compassionate care.

A Charlottesville native, Sarah attended Albemarle High School and has a Bachelor's degree in English from UVa. As a teenager she spent afternoons and weekends with friends in the horse country west of town, riding horses at Grover's stables (now the Foxfield steeplechase course). Before founding Just A Little Help, Sarah had a career in hospitality, working at Farmington Country Club, Keswick Hall, and the The Greencroft Club.
